1. Blindly Tasting at Fossil Wine Bar – 7p to 9p
Have you always wondered about how wine aficionados taste ‘blind’? Here’s your chance to learn how and to trust your own senses of sight, smell and taste. Join Fossil Wine Bar & The Goddess of Wine for an evening of blind wine tasting to hone your skills. You’ll learn how to WOW your friends! Reservations required. Must be 21 or older to attend. Tickets are $40 per person.

2. La Bodega Tapas Winemaker Dinner – 6p to 9p
Croma Vera’s Winemaker, Jeremy Leffert, presents a selection of Croma Vera’s small lot, Spanish varietal wines. La Bodega’s Chef Fernando will pair tapas off their menu for you to choose from. No set menu price and tickets not required. All wines will be from Croma Vera for the evening.

3. Bike Breakfast at Sram – 7:30a to 9a

4. Public Works Night – 6p to 9p
Join Downtown SLO in celebrating National Public Works Week! Come meet staff from the City of SLO at the Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market as they present informative displays, equipment demos, and brochures. You will learn about the intricacies of running our city, including the importance planning, building, and operations have on our communities. In addition, children will be able to experience the tools and machines used in Public Works like bucket trucks and tractors and visit with staff to ask questions.

5. Best of the West Santa Margarita – May 24 to 26
Get an up-close and hands-on look at antique equipment, including: tractors, engines, cars, steam trains, airplanes and much more. Hosted at the historic Santa Margarita Ranch on California’s beautiful central coast, this unique event is fun for the whole family! Tickets start at $10 per day
6. Spring Swing – 5:30p to 6:30p
Swing into Friday Night with Tooth & Nail! There will be instructions on East Coast Swing for an hour and then you get a chance to show off your dance moves on the floor as they continue with their regular FREE Friday Night Music. You won’t want to miss it.
7. Pop Up Dining Southern Night – 6p to 8p
Enjoy Niner’s Pop Up Dining event! Each night they will have a different theme, ingredient or dish that drives what is being served. Enjoy a reception period with wine and passed appetizers at the tasting room bar and outside patio before being seated in our dining room for a delicious meal served alongside a selection of our estate wines. Chat with your table neighbors, enjoy our estate wines by the glass and relax. Your ticket includes the full menu & two glasses of wine.
8. Paso Robles Cycling Festival – May 24 – 27
It’s time for the Paso Robles Cycling festival held on each Memorial Day Weekend! This is the longest running bicycle festival in the USA. Featuring over 25 ride options and 4 days packed with on and off the bike activities this Cycling Festival has something for all types of cyclist and their families. There will be wine tasting, winery tours, beer, family fun, competitions, cycling vintage expo, food and MORE!

10. The Art of Tasting – Taittinger Wines – 12:30p to 2p | 6p to 7:30p
Studios on the Park is thrilled to be partnering with owner and Sommelier of Somm’s Kitchen, Ian Adamo. A longtime supporter of Studios, Ian is thrilled to be presenting an exciting educational series exploring the art of tasting Paso Robles and the world’s finest wines. For this first session, Ian has teamed up with the benchmark Champagne house Taittinger. This is a great opportunity to learn about the varieties used, aging process and quality levels. Plus, Ian is generously donating 50% of all profits to support Studios essential arts access and educational programs.
11. Pedal to Pizza: 3rd Annual Pizza Ride – 11:30a to 1p
Join Bike SLO County for the 3rd Annual Pizza Ride. Meet at the Bike Kitchen in SLO and enjoy a casual, low key ride to three different pizza joints in SLO, stopping for pizza at all three. Bike SLO County will buy and share 2 pizzas at each stop (Please be prepared to purchase additional pizza if necessary). Route announced at start of ride.
12. Arroyo Grande Strawberry Festival | Saturday 10a to 5:30p | Sunday 10a to 4:30p
One of California’s largest premiere festival on the Central Coast, this family-style event brings together thousands of visitors and residents to enjoy activities and entertainment, the Strawberry Stampede, hundreds of art, craft and display booths, ethnic foods, and of course… scrumptious strawberry treats of all kinds! Bring the family out for this FREE event!
13. Central Coast Cactus and Succulent Society |Saturday 10a to 5p | Sunday 10a to 4p
If you enjoy the exotic beauty of succulent plants then you do NOT want to miss this exciting event. Thousands of beautiful plants will be on display. This is a wonderful opportunity to start or add to your cacti and succulent collection with quality plants at very reasonable prices.
14. Art in the Park Morro Bay – May 25 & 26 – 10a to 5p | May 27 – 10a to 4p
This 64th annual show offers artists and crafts people a high quality outdoor setting to display and sell their wares to an appreciative audience. Morro Bay Art in the Park is looked upon as the finest display of handmade art and crafts presented in San Luis Obispo County. There will be 108 booths representing 125 independent artists and craft workers. Come out with the family and enjoy a wide variety of food and drink available at the festival.
15. 8th Annual Avila Beach Tequila Festival – 12p to 5p
Come kick off summer in Avila Beach with the 8th Annual Tequila Festival at the Avila Beach Golf Resort. This takes place on Memorial Weekend and will feature live music by Nana Pancha and Diego’s Umbrella! Event is strictly 21+. Tequila Tastings will be from 12-3pm ONLY. Arrive early!
There are a limited amount of VIP Tickets available! General Admission – $45: Includes on-site parking, entry, shot glass, and six (1/4oz) tastings!
16. Beer Fest at Madonna Meadows – 1p to 5p
Memorial Day weekend has always been San Luis Obispo’s biggest beer weekend. This year will be no exception. Alumni return to our beautiful city to meet up with beer lovers from all over who make this pilgrimage back to the central coast. Of course Beer Fest is popular with the current student Cal Poly population as well so don’t hesitate to buy your tickets early. Admission includes souvenir taster, unlimited beer tastings, access to all the great music, all the fun you can have and maybe a few surprises. Giant beer pong, cornhole, obstacle course, sumo and joust will be some of the games featured.
17. Memorial Mayhem: A Roller Derby Double Header – 4p to 9:30p
Are you ready for the MAYhem?! This Memorial Day Weekend join Cal Skate Roller Derby of Santa Maria, CA as they take on the The Bakersfield Diamond Divas. The charity benefactor for this event is the The Central Coast Autism Spectrum Center. 100% of our Raffle Proceeds will go directly to their organization. Tickets are $5 from your favorite league member or $10 at the gate. Kids 12 and under are always free. Military (Active Duty and Veteran) FREE w/Military ID There will be beer, food, and merch. vendors on hand and raffle tickets for sale, so bring your pocketbooks!

18. Avila Beach Blues Festival – Noon to 10p
This is the 26th year for what has been a landmark Central Coast event, the Avila Beach Blues Festival. This year continues the tradition of the biggest and longest running blues festival on the Central Coast, with top name entertainment against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. This is the party that kicks off the outdoor concert season!
19. Nickel & DIME Pop-up Speakeasy – 5p to Midnight
Escape the monotony of small-town nightlife and experience a taste of the Prohibition Era at the single-night pop-up speakeasy, Nickel & DIME. In the spirit of the times, we will be serving up specialty ‘beertails’ throughout the evening in addition to the regular beverage menu. While you sip on your drink, enjoy live jazz by the duo, The Bob & Del Show, and lounge in the transformed space. Think Clara Bow & Charlie Chaplin for attire inspiration, as a semi-formal/dressy casual dress code will be expected (but please, leave the flapper costume in your costume bin). Ticket prices include admission & one drink (beertail or mocktail)! Additional drinks will be available for purchase. There are two time slots for the event (5pm and 9pm) and prices increase on May 20th, so make sure you buy your ticket early! This is a one-time experience you won’t want to miss.
