Monday April 15, 2019

  1. Tasting Easter and Passover Wines– 7p to 9p
    Our favorites from Fossil Wine Bar will be hosting another great event. Discover what wines pair well with spring lamb, brisket, and other typical Easter and Passover fare! The class will be taught by the Goddess of Wine, Denise Lowe, as she provides some alternative choices to enhance your Easter or Passover feasts! Tasty treats from JD Bakes will accompany the wines, and be available for purchase. Must be 21 or older to attend. Reservations required due to limited space. Tickets are $40 per person.

  1. Mint & Craft Presents: Our Local Table – 7p to 9p
    Gather ’round the community table and share a dining experience seasoned with freshness and a sprinkling of new-found friends. Mint+Craft is a casual cafe and artisanal goods mercantile in the new Chinatown project in downtown San Luis Obispo. They believe in accessible, fresh, innovative food with exciting global flavors for everyone’s tastebuds. Enjoy a family-style dining experience with their Executive Chef Brian Parks.  $48/person (includes tax + gratuity) +$20 optional wine pairing. 26 person limit.

  1. Wine Bingo Cava Robles – 6p to 9p
    Time to test your palate and win some awesome prizes. Get ready for wine bingo! Round up the gang and get your ‘bingo!’ game on. The event will be held by Broken Earth Winery at Cava Robles RV Resort. Cheese platters will be available at the event. Tickets include a blind tasting flight of 6 wines, bingo card, and markers. Wine Club – $20, General Public – $25 PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE. Seating is limited, *21 and over please*
  2. Herbs 101 Workshop at Talley Vineyards – 5p to 7p
    Used throughout the centuries to scent, heal, and make things tasty, herbs can be superstars in your own home!  During this interactive class, attendees will make a wall-mounted, modern herb planter while learning about cooking and healing with herbs. Sauces, teas, marinades, and salads will be covered as we create three dishes for attendees to enjoy with a glass of delicious Talley wine. Tickets are $65 and includes one glass of wine, lot’s of amazing food, a printable with tips + tricks, and a mini herb to plant in your own handmade planter. Visit Zest it Up to purchase your ticket, don’t hesitate, space is limited! * Attendees must be 21 years or older.
  3. Night golf at Laguna Lake Golf Course – 6:30p to 9:30p
    Come experience the new craze under a full moon. All equipment needed will be provided– just bring your clubs and headlamp. This event is fun for all ages! Cost is $10 plus a $5 refundable deposit on your UV Glow Ball. Tee Times are very limited – get in quick.

  1. Turntable Supper Club: Israeli Street Food –  6:30p to 9:30p
    A collaborative food series brought to you by Sally Loo’s + Danior Kitchen. This monthly pop up event has rotating a different food theme each time. Come with a group or join a community table to make new foodie friends. A selection of kosher wines will be chosen to accompany the menu. $95 *Vegetarian/Vegan upon request. $15 corkage for additional wine.
  2. Charcuterie 101 Workshop – Studios on the Park – 6:30p to 8:30p
    Do you want to be the “Hostess with the mostest”? – Now you can with this charcuterie 101 workshop! All guests will create their own marble and wood cheeseboard while they demonstrate the ins and outs of creating a beautiful charcuterie display perfect for summer entertaining. When all is said and done you get to consume your charcuterie board and wash down it down with a complimentary glass of local wine! Leave with a full belly and your very own cutting board at the end of the workshop, so you can recreate what you learned in class at your  next celebration. * All attendees must be 21 years or over. Tickets are $65
  3. Mom’s Club of Atascadero Spring Fling 2019 – 10a to 12p
    This is an open, FREE event and a good opportunity to meet your local MOMS club! There will be snacks, face painting, relay races with prizes and a craft for the kids to make and take home…and of course the egg hunt!  Please RSVP so they can plan for the number of eggs and crafts. The Mom’s Club of Atascadero is a support group designed just for MOMS! If you are interested in the world around you, want a variety of activities for you and your children, and want to spend time with other moms…this is the group for you.
  4. Defining Her Future: A Women in Leadership Conference 2019 – 9a to 4p
    This year’s Women in Business’ Defining Her Future conference will be held at the Cal Poly Performing Arts Center, this year’s theme is “Grit to Great.” This conference will celebrate the passion and perseverance that women have endured during challenging times. Everyone has a unique story to tell, be inspired to acknowledge your own journey, and to realize how your GRIT will help you succeed in whatever profession you choose to enter. This conference will empower ALL people, regardless of their age, gender, or major, to feel confident and capable in achieving their career related goals. DHF will give you an amazing opportunity to network with potential employers, listen to some of the most influential individuals in the industry, and to attend breakout sessions. This year, we have some of leading companies in the industry attending, including Adobe, Oracle, Google, Goldman Sachs, Stryker, the Big 4 Accounting Firms and many more! Event is FREE for students, faculty, and staff. $25 for professionals.

  1. Cayucos Dog Parade and Easter Egg Hunt – 10a Easter Egg Hunt || Dog Parade Noon
    A classic community Easter egg hunt starts at 10am at Hardie Park, then meet the Easter Bunny afterwards. After the egg hunt head over to the pier for the Dog Parade! Meet at noon at the foot of the pier and strut your stuff from the pier through the downtown business area along N. Ocean Ave. Costumes and spring doggy bonnets are encouraged. The Easter Bunny leads the walking parade, sponsored by the Cayucos Lioness Club to raise awareness of the Mutt Mitts program. Woof!
  2. Laguna Lake Park: Egg Scavenger Hunt – 11am
    Hippity Hoppity! Join the Bunny for an exciting adventure while searching for prized filled eggs at the Laguna Lake Park. Don’t forget to bring your basket! Arrive early! Event is FREE and for ages 8 and under. There will be a free bike valet area as well. Parking is limited.
  3. Dirty Cello at SLOMA – 7p – 8p
    From China to Italy, and all over the U.S., Dirty Cello brings the world a high energy and unique spin on blues and bluegrass. Who doesn’t love a night out with live music followed by an opportunity to visit with the musicians and enjoy light refreshments follows the one-hour performance. Tickets are $20 general seating.
  4. Easter Egg Hunt Los Osos – 10a – Noon
    Kids can join in this free community Easter Egg Hunt at the South Bay Community Center before Easter. They’ll have 2 bounce houses, face painting, and petting zoo. There will be a costume contest at 10:30am with prizes being awarded in every age group.
  5. 30th Annual Egg Hunt & Festival Arroyo Grande –  10a – 1p
    This community event will have plenty of vendors and events for the kids. You’ll find an egg toss competition, bunny hop races, and of course plenty of egg hunts throughout the afternoon. They’ll also have a petting zoo, Fire engines and Police cars and don’t forget to stop by and get your photo taken with the Easter Bunny.
  6. Tea Tasting at Chapman Estate – 10a – Noon
    Take a break from all the bunny hopping this weekend. Green tea, black tea, herbal tea – each of these has a unique story to tell. This workshop will focus the Camellia Sinensis plant that white, green, oolong, black, and aged tea come from. In this workshop you will learn about the different types of tea and how to identify them. You will also learn the different styles of brewing for your personal taste, and you will get to take home ¼ oz of your favorite tea.   7. Easter Eggstravaganza: Pismo Beach – 10a to 1p
    The City of Pismo Beach Recreation Division is hop-py to invite you to the annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza on Saturday, April 20th from 10:00 AM –1:00 PM at Dinosaur Caves Park! This FREE event will include games, bounce houses, crafts, food vendors, visits with the Easter Bunny, and more. There will also be a magician to give an egg-citing show at 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM in the Rotary Amphitheater at the park. Participants are asked to bring their own basket or bag to collect their eggs and goodies. To ensure the safety of all participants, there are different egg hunts for different age groups.
  8. Eternal Bloom by Namaste & Chill: Music, Yoga, Wine, Food – 3p to 8p
    Celebrate the beauty of Spring with a Namaste & Chill day party filled with art and yoga! Dress in your festi-best and they’ll do the rest! All proceeds support local artists in the Namaste & Chill Artist Collective. There will be live music, flow performances, live painting, tea service, face painting, astrology reading and more! All this epicness will be happening at Castoro Cellars – serving their famous organic wine. Whalebird Kombucha will be available as well as Chaco’s Mexican Grill. Chaco’s will be serving delicious food for vegans, meat-lovers, and everyone in between — including gluten-free dishes! Tickets are $12 – in advance. $15 – at the door. Ages 15 and below – FREE. Fur-babies on-leash welcome!
  9. Rosé All Day at 15c Wine Shop & Bar – 2p to 5p
    Come enjoy beautiful weather on the patio at 15c! They will be pouring a dozen roses from around the world all just released 2018 vintage!!! All wines will be available for purchase or pre order! Food is also available for purchase – their flat breads are delish!

  1. Easter Brunch At The Castle – 10a to 4p
    Join Tooth & Nail for Easter Brunch Buffet at the Castle! They will take care of the cooking for you so you can sit back enjoy some quality time with your family. $25 per person, reservations are highly recommended. Check out the Menu HERE, event is open to the public.
  2. Easter Brunch on wheels – 10a to 2p
    Visit Avila Beach Golf Resort on a beautiful day at Brunch-on-Wheels! They will have the best of the county’s local food trucks serving up specialized Brunch menus, with the beach at your toes! The April edition of Brunch on Wheels will feature a special visit from the Easter Bunny along with an Easter Egg Hunt, live music by Carbon City Lights, lawn games, and the ever-popular Mimosa and Bloody Bars!
