Mike Cirone, of Cirone Farms, will be joining The Wine History Project for a crisp discussion of the apples grown in See Canyon. He will share the history of apples, but specifically his method of farming and unique varieties of apples grown at Cirone Farms.

Lindy Hop Classes – 6p to 7p (San Luis Obispo)

Come learn the original swing dance, the Lindy Hop! Enjoy a swing dance class followed by dancing at Madonna Inn. SLO Rugcutters currently offers a Level 1 and a Level 2 class, both are drop-in friendly and have no partner requirements.

Rhones on the Range BBQ & Tasting – 5:30p to 8:30p (Paso Robles)

Madonna Inn Salsa Night – 8:30p to 11p

This is a FREE event brought to you by CPSalsa’s training team, Sangre Nueva! Dance to your favorite salsa, cha cha cha, and bachata songs…maybe even a merengue. CPSalsa is a student-run organization dedicated to Salsa and Latin dancing. They encourage the local community to come out, dance, and learn to help us spread the love of Salsa!

Join ECOSLO and enjoy one of their free docent led hikes. Meet Annie at the trailhead on Bishop St. for a sunset hike up Terrace Hill.

Paso Robles Recreation Services and the REC Foundation proudly present the 2019 Concerts in the Park series! This family-friendly, FREE event is held at the Downtown City Park in the heart of Paso Robles. Music will be provided by the Joy Bonner Band.

Friday, August 16th

SLO Distillery Trail Weekend 2019! – August 16 to 18 (Paso Robles)

The Paso Robles and SLO distillery trails are hosting an open house all weekend long. There will be tastings, giveaways, special releases, food, and MORE!

Cruisin’ Weekend in Atascadero – Aug 16 to 17 (Atascadero)

The weekend kicks off with the 27th Annual Hot El Camino Cruise Nite on Friday and continues on Saturday with the 30th Annual Mid State Cruizers Car Show, followed by the 4th Annual Dancing in the Streets in the Downtown! Don’t miss this wonderful annual tradition.

The Fableist Wine-Rail Excursion – 3p to 9p (Paso Robles)

Go on an adventure! Travel on the Amtrak Coast Starlight over the beautiful Cuesta Grade to Paso Robles. Then get transported to The Fableist Wine Co.(formerly Pomar Junction Vineyard) for their Train Wreck Friday party to enjoy wine and music by Bear Market Riot.

Concerts In The Plaza – 5p to 8p (San Luis Obispo)

Downtown SLO and Sunset Honda proudly present the 2019 Concerts in the Plaza Series. This week’s featured artist is The JD Project. Concerts attendees are encouraged to bring their own reusable cups to the event. Food and drink for purchase from: Woodstock’s Pizza & Backyard, Chamisal Vineyards, Firestone Walker Brewing Co., and Jean Marie Cidery. The event is free and family-friendly!

27th Annual El Camino Cruise Nite! – 6:30p to 8:30p (Atascadero)

This is one of the largest and most popular annual events in San Luis Obispo County and one of Atascadero’s signature events! Enjoy over 400 local cruisers from the 1950’s and 1960’s come downtown from across California.

Saturday, August 17th

Advice to Grow By: Citrus & Avocados – 10a to 12p (San Luis Obispo)

30th Annual Atascadero Lake Car Show! – 10a to 3p (Atascadero)

Mid-State Cruisers presents the 30th Annual Atascadero Lake Car Show! Check out the interior and exterior of a wide variety of gorgeous antique cars.

Dancing in the Streets – 5p to 10p (Atascadero)

This toe-tapping celebration will include a great selection of food and beer vendors and beautiful antique cars to enjoy, plus a variety of everyone’s favorite local bands featuring great music and lots of dancing!

Harvest Hope & Healing Gala – 5:30p to 10:30p – (Paso Robles)

This amazing night and raises over $200,000 annually to support local cancer patients and their families. There will be silent and live auctions, an amazing dinner presented by local caterers paired with local wines, spirits, and music.  A great time for a great cause!

Vineyard View Dinner – 6:30p to 9:30p

Join Halter Ranch Vineyards for an evening of beautiful vineyard views and stargazing with the Central Coast Astronomy Society. Chef Brian Collins, Ember Restaurant has created an out of this world menu paired with our award-winning Halter Ranch wines.

Brunch on Wheels has the best of the county’s local food trucks serving up specialized Brunch menus, with the beach at your toes The August edition of Brunch on Wheels will feature live music by Conner Cherland, lawn games, and the ever-popular Mimosa and Bloody Bars!

Sizzlin Summer Series – 3p to 6p (Grover Beach)

Get ready for another great summer of friendly company, delicious food, and great music! Music will be provided by the Cadillac Angeles. Don’t forget your low back chairs, sunglasses, sunblock and dancing shoes!  Delicious food, beer and wine AVAILABLE!  The event is free for all ages.
