Monday, June 3rd

1.  Beer At The Pier Summer Series – 4p to 7p – (Los Osos)
The best little concert series on the Central Coast!  Going on its 5th year in beautiful Baywood Park, Beer at the Pier offers the finest in local talent, fine food & drink from the Blue Heron Baywood Restaurant, a garden stage, a dancing lawn, fire pit lounge, multiple patios, and bars, and an unparalleled community vibe! Music: Cabana Brazil Electric • (Funk/Samba/Bossa)

2.  805 Food Truck Night – 5p to 7:30p – (San Luis Obispo)
Join the 805 Food Trucks for 1st MONDAYS at Bang the Drum Brewery. They will be bringing some of the best LOCAL food trucks for a fun, foodie night featuring Cubanissimo Food TruckFeed My Seoul, AR Catering & Beau’s Dogs!

Tuesday, June 4th

3.  Rosé with the Rhone Rangers – 5:30p to 7:30p – (Paso Robles)
Join the Rhone Rangers at J Dusi Wines for an evening of Rosé! Nibble on wood-fired pizzas and artisan cheeses while sampling pink wines from Rhone varietals. There will be live music and rosé all day…and night! Tickets are $30 per person.

Wednesday, June 5th

4.  Blacklake Summer Concert Series: Rock Odyssey – 5p to 7:30p – (Nipomo)
Join in on the 2019 Blacklake Concert Series! This week music will be by Rock Odyssey so swing by to enjoy some live music. Blacklake concerts are performed outside, so bring your lawn chairs and blankets and find a spot on the grass. Lawn seating is FREE or you will be able to rent a table and 8 chairs for only $20. No outside food or beverage is allowed at the concerts. Families welcome!  Be sure to come out and enjoy some of the finest music the Central Coast has to offer.

5.  YPNG June Social – 5:30p to 7:30p – (San Luis Obispo)
This month’s social networking event will be at 7 Sisters Brewery! As a special treat 7 Sisters will be hosting an all-night happy hour!! The Young Professionals Networking Group (YPNG) social networking events can provide an opportunity to make new connections in the area. No need to come alone, these are FREE events so grab a buddy and stop in for a great night!

Thursday, June 6th

6.  Concerts in the Park Ft. Damon Castillo Band – 6p to 8p – (Paso Robles)
Paso Robles Recreation Services and the REC Foundation proudly present the 2019 Concerts in the Park series! This family friendly, FREE event is held at the Downtown City Park in the heart of Paso Robles. Music wil be provided by the The Damon Castillo Band. Beer will be available for purchase from Firestone Walker Brewing Company and wine by J. Lohr Vineyards and Wines. Food will be provided in the park by Orale Taqueria. Concessions are available starting at 5pm.

Friday June 7th

7.  Beeswax Wrap Making Class with Frances Jackson – 1p to 3p
– (Cambria)
This is the first of the Zero Waste Series taught by Frances Jackson at the Hidden Kitchen! Beeswax wraps are a sustainable way to reduce waste by eliminating the need for plastic wrap. During this two hour class, students will learn the fundamentals of waxing, caring for, and re-waxing beeswax wraps and will be given all the necessary tools for doing it at home! Each attendee will leave with their very own handmade organic beeswax wraps varying in sizes, and a recipe for creating wraps at home!

8.  Summer BBQ 101 Workshop – 5p to 7p
– (Paso Robles)
Calling all foodies!! It’s time to inspire and cultivate your backyard-chef skills! Visit beautiful Talley Vineyards for an alfresco class that teaches the basics of cuts, marinades, rubs, and cookin’ over fire techniques. The beauty of this class is the bounty we will enjoy together! Paired with a lovely glass of Talley wine, we will savour veggies, fish, chicken, beef and more! Every guest will take home BBQ tips + tricks, small mason jars of sauces and rubs, and their very own BBQ set that they will “brand” with their own wood burned design. Get ready to get rugged and gourmet, cuz the flames will be leapin’!

9.  Art After Dark SLO – 6p to 9p – ( San Luis Obispo)
Join Arts Obispo every first Friday of the month to celebrate art and local artists. Downtown comes alive with new art exhibits, performances, music, and community. Visit dozens of galleries and non-traditional exhibit spaces. It’s everyone’s favorite night of the month to celebrate art for free. On a typical Art After Dark, approximately 30 venues including galleries, restaurants, salons, and boutiques spotlight the best of San Luis Obispo County arts and culture.

10.  Southern Cooking, Turntable Supper Club – 6p to 9p – (San Luis Obispo)
Join Danior Kitchen and Sally Loo’s for a Multi Course Meal Family style meal, inspired by Chef Spenser’s Grandma, Ruth. Join Chef Spencer Johnson and Winemakre Tyler Russel of Nelle Winery, as they take you on a culinary journey through the Midwest of both Canada and the US. 

11.  Devour Featuring Chef Jimmy Wong of Dench – 6p to 11p – SOLD OUT – (San Luis Obispo)
Join Cal Poly pop-up phenom Jimmy Wong of Dench Restaurant for a night of California cuisine through an Asian-American lens. Tickets include pre-party, dinner, cocktails, and dessert. Private bar during & after dinner. Jimmy Wong is an aspiring chef and Cal Poly student who has been doing pop ups in his apartment! This pop up is timed to coincide with the launch of his new Dench Cookbook. This kid is going places, you gonna want to be say you knew him when! 6.7 art after dark

12.  Dancing At Dusk – 7p to 9p – (Avila Beach)
i2i is excited to announce their spring show: Dancing at Dusk! Enjoy a special 2-hour DJ set held in Pirate’s Cove during sunset. Bring your roommates, bring your friends, you won’t want to miss this one! See you in the cave!

Saturday June 8th

13.  Grandma Ingrid’s: Pizza – 9a to Noon – (Arroyo Grande)

Come to Grandma Ingrids and learn how to make pizza dough. A friend from Italy shared his recipe with the family and now they would like to share it with you. You will also learn how to make pizza sauce from tomatos canned from their last year garden. Make the pizza at Grandma’s House and take extra dough home to make a pizza for your family.

14.  10th Nerf War – 10a to 12p – (Atascadero)
Grab the family for the 10th Nerf War event! All are welcome. Two teams/sides fling all the foam they can at each other for about 5-6 short (4-5 min) sessions. No one gets out, everyone plays the whole time and it’s an all out blast.

15.  Hemp and Cannabis Fair – June 8 & 9 – 10a to 4:30p – (San Luis Obispo)
This expo is a celebration of legal marijuana! You’ll find hemp and cannabis products, accessories and tools, grow and harvest equipment and more in our amazing expo hall. Then, take in some great sessions on growing, medicinal benefits, legal FAQs and more!

16.  Law Estate Blending Parties – June 8 & 9 – 11a to 1p – (Paso Robles)
Do you think you have what it takes to make a stellar Spanish inspired blend? Come find out at Law Estate’s upcolming Blending Party! They will provide all of the supplies needed to perfect your winemaking skills.  Judges will include Winemaker, Phillip Pfunder, Vineyard Manager, Levi Glenn, and Cellarmaster, Pedro Vasquez. Each will bring unique insight to their specific roles in the blending process and the characteristics that are quintessential to the Law brand. Enjoy paella while the winemaking team critiques each table’s submitted blend and selects the winner!  Winners receive a bottle of their submitted blend and originally named wine as well as the bragging rights of being “Top Winemakers 2019.”

17.  8th Annual Mac and Cheese Fest – 2p to 6p – (Avila Beach)
The Mac is back! All of your favorite Central Coast Restaurants will go head to head for the title of, “Best Mac and Cheese on the Central Coast!” There will be Mac and Cheese, wine tasting, cocktail sampling, games and more! Plus, live music! Don’t miss the fight for the title of best mac and cheese on the Central Coast! This is a 21+ event. A portion of the proceeds from the 7th Annual Mac and Cheese Fest will be donated to Woods Humane Society!

18.  Malene Luau Soirée – 5:30p to 7:30p – (San Luis Obispo)
Kick off the summer with a soiree like no other. Join Malene Wines as they present an authentic Hawaiian style Luau on their Flamingo Fields. Come dressed in your festive Luau attire and enjoy live music, a Hawaiian themed photo booth, hula dancing lessons and more while you sip on our delicious wines from our Airstream. 19.  Lobster Boil – 6p to 9p – (Paso Robles)
Join Sextant Wines for their 9th Annual Lobster Boil at their Estate Winery in Paso Robles! The night will be starting out with tray passed appetizers followed by a feast of Maine lobster, Mexican prawns, corn on the cob, artichokes, and fresh dug fingerling potatoes all paired perfectly with their best wines. Come hungry!

20.  Blame It On The Boogie! – A prom for adults with disabilities – 6p to 9p – (Atascadero)
The Positive Change Movement is incredibly excited to present “Blame It On The Boogie!”, a 70’s themed prom open to all adults (18 years and older) with developmental/intellectual disabilities in San Luis Obispo County. Dress up in your best 70’s attire or formal attire, ready to have a blast and dance the night away! They will have a DJ, snacks, a photo booth and most of all…FUN! This event is FREE – you just need to reserve your spot on the guest list by May 15th!

21.  The Spring Pajama Jammy Jam Party – 9p to Midnight – (San Luis Obispo)
It’s the last Soul Dust party of Spring 2019, so get ready to dance and party in your jammies at Bang the Drum Brewery. Yes that’s right, it’s the return of the Jammy Jam! Soul Dust DJ Navig8 did his share of jammy parties during his long DJ career while living in L.A., and now he wants to share this experience here in SLO. Must be 18+

Sunday, June 9th

22.  Pacific Breeze Concert Series – 1p to 4p – (Pismo Beach)
The City of Pismo Beach Recreation Division proudly presents the 11th Annual Pacific Breeze Concerts at Pismo Beach Rotary Amphitheater at Dinosaur Caves Park. As always, these community events are FREE! Make sure to bring your lawn chairs or blankets for seating on the park’s expansive lawn overlooking the Pacific Ocean. There will be refreshments for sale from local vendors, and children’s activities will include bounce houses, games, and crafts! Enjoy live music by The Molly Ringwald Project!

23.  SLO Movement Arts Center Presents Thumbelina – 1p to 3p | 6p to 8P – (San Luis Obispo)
The SLO Movement Arts Center in collaboration with the Movement Arts Collective present Thumbelina, Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale.  Follow this thumb sized ballerina through forests, ponds, medows, and fields as she meets frogs, mice, butterflies, beetles, and ultimately discovers her place in the world.  Act II features a mixed program of high energy dance set to familiar and popular music.

24.  Toy Story at The Cliffs – 7:30p to 10p – (Pismo Beach)
To infinity and beyond! Travel along with Woody & Buzz, as they navigate loyalty and friendships in a world where all your favorite toys come to life! This June, before the release of Toy Story 4, join The Cliffs Resort for a showing of the original Toy Story. Dress as your favorite Toy Story character to receive a ticket for our drawing. The winner will receive a free night’s stay, transportation and movie tickets for 4 to Toy Story 4 on premiere night! This movie is free and open to the public. They will have food, drinks & treats for sale to enjoy during the movie. Come early to find your spot on the lawn, bring blankets and low backed lawn chairs and get cozy. All ages welcome, no outside food and beverage, no high backed chairs, rain cancels event.
