Monday, June 24th

1.  Edible San Luis Obispo Magazine Summer House – June 24 to 28 (San Luis Obispo)
You are invited to Edible Magazine, San Luis Obispo’s summer issue release party, an evening honoring all of the people who made our re-launch issue possible. Let’s toast to everyone’s efforts in pulling off our largest print issue yet (and in record time!). We want to celebrate with YOU  – our contributors, partners, readers – for making it happen. Mingle with Edible writers and photographers, hospitality industry leaders, and local foodies.

2.  Beer At The Pier Summer Series – 4p to 7p – (Los Osos)
The best little concert series on the Central Coast!  Going on its 5th year in beautiful Baywood Park, Beer at the Pier offers the finest in local talent, fine food & drink from the Blue Heron Baywood Restaurant, a garden stage, a dancing lawn, fire pit lounge, multiple patios, and bars, and an unparalleled community vibe! Music: Cuesta Ridge.

Tuesday, June 25th

3.  Tuesdays In The Park – 5p to 8p (Atascadero)
Support local non-profits, enjoy a tri tip and chicken BBQ dinner by the Atascadero Elks Club, and then sit back and enjoy the Atascadero Community Band from 7-8 pm. Purchase your tickets at the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce. TICKET PRICES: $9 Child (10 years and younger); $14 Adult; $12 Seniors (60+)

4.  Salsa Dancing at Madonna Inn – 8:30p to 11p
This is a FREE event brought to you by CPSalsa’s training team, Sangre Nueva! Listen and dance to all your favorites, Bachata, Salsa, Merengue, Cha cha cha, Kizomba/zouk.

Wednesday, June 26th

5.  Blacklake Summer Concert Series: Damon Castillo Band – 5p to 7:30p – (Nipomo)
Join in on the 2019 Blacklake Concert Series! This week music will be by Sound Investment so swing by to enjoy some live music. Blacklake concerts are performed outside, so bring your lawn chairs and blankets and find a spot on the grass. Lawn seating is FREE or you will be able to rent a table and 8 chairs for only $20. No outside food or beverage is allowed at the concerts. Families welcome!  Be sure to come out and enjoy some of the finest music the Central Coast has to offer.

6.  Concerts In the Park – 6:30p to 8:30p (Templeton)
Bring your family and friends to Templeton Park with your lawn chairs and blankets.  Sit back, relax, and enjoy an evening of free musical entertainment for the whole family!  There will be approved vendors with food and beverages available for purchase as well as the Templeton Chamber of Commerce Beer and Wine Garden. Music by The Joy Bonner Band.

Thursday, June 27th

7.  Concerts In the Park – 6p to 8p (Paso Robles)
Paso Robles Recreation Services and the REC Foundation proudly present the 2019 Concerts in the Park series! This family-friendly, FREE event is held at the Downtown City Park in the heart of Paso Robles. Music will be provided by Rockin’ Bs Band. Beer will be available for purchase from Firestone Walker Brewing Company and wine by J. Lohr Vineyards and Wines. Food will be provided in the park by Catch Seafood Bar & Grill. Concessions are available starting at 5pm. Each week there is a free bike valet provided by Bike SLO County. Concert goers are invited to bring chairs, blankets, snacks and beverages to the park.

8.  Movies in the Garden – The Goonies – 7:30p to 10p (Cambria)
Cambria Pines Lodge presents Movies in the Garden every Thursday from June 20 to August 15 (except for July 4). Join them for a special screening of The Goonies. This is a free event for all ages. Refreshments will be available to purchase.

Friday, June 28th

9.  BedaFest – June 28 to 29 (San Luis Obispo)

BedaFest is back for the 3rd year in San Luis Obispo and there is even more FUN waiting for you! New convenient location, more options, casual setting, and the friendly crowd make BedaFest a not-to-be-missed event.  The event is two days! Friday they will be having their BedaFest Spanferkel Pig Roast Party! Saturday their official family focused BedaFest returns. Both days feature our mouth-watering German food, German beers, live music, games, and more!

10.  Circus Vargas – June 28 to July 8 (San Luis Obispo)
The Big One is Back with “The Greatest of Ease’ bringing acrobats, daredevils and flying trapeze! Celebrate Circus Vargas’ 50th anniversary extravaganza, an homage to the golden era of circus in America!! All aboard our spectacular circus steam engine as we ride the railways back in time, to relive the nostalgia of yesteryear! Marvel at the sights and sounds emanating from the big top, just as audiences did decades ago! The hypnotic call of the Calliope, the sawdust, the sequins the spangles! Run away with the circus, for two unforgettable hours of nonstop action and adventure, as we transport you back through the ages of circus history and tradition!

11.  Mid-State Metal Fest – June 28 to 29 (Multiple locations)
Hail Yourself Metalzine, Sunken Tomb Records, and Boo Boo Records present the first official underground metal festival that San Luis Obispo has ever seen! Enjoy an array of heavy bands, beer garden, food truck, and vendors. Day 1 is 21+, Day 2 is all ages.

12.  Concerts in the Plaza ft The Tipsy Gypsies – 5p to 8p – (San Luis Obispo)
Downtown SLO and Sunset Honda proudly present the 2019 Concerts in the Plaza Series. Their featured artist is the indie pop duo, rosecoloredworld. Concerts attendees are encouraged to bring their own reusable cups to the event. Food and drink for purchase from: Woodstock’s Pizza & Backyard, Chamisal Vineyards, Firestone Walker Brewing Co., and Jean Marie Cidery. The event is free and family friendly!

13.  Backyard Winemaker Dinner – 6p to 9p (San Luis Obispo)
Enjoy five courses of farm to table cuisine at the Apple Farm. The dinner will be held on the heated garden patio at our restaurant with ONX wine pairings with each course. There will be live acoustic music for the evening as well. Seating is limited so snag tickets early!

Saturday, June 29th

14.  2nd Annual Morro Bay Marine Swap Meet – 8a to 2p (Morro Bay)

Join the City of Morro Bay for their annual Marine Swap Meet. Buy & Sell – Boats, surf boards, marine supplies, marine hardware, fishing gear, nautical antiques, maritime art & collectables, dive & scuba gear, etc. Admission is FREE. Bring your appetite…food available for purchase

15.  South Hills Hike with ECOSLO – 8a to 10a (San Luis Obispo)

Join ECOSLO for their monthly hike. Exercise and meet a new friend. This Saturday they will be hiking the South Hills Loop Trail. The 580-foot summit of the South Hills trail provides excellent easy-to-reach views of San Luis Obispo. There is a perimeter loop trail touring the 133-acre South Hills Open Space, along with a ridge trail that provides a 1.5-mile round trip hike as it ascends 450 feet to the top of the green space just south of downtown San Luis Obispo.

16.  Templeton Recreation 5K Beer Run – 8a to 11a (Paso Robles)

Register for the 4th Annual Templeton 5K Beer Run at BarrelHouse Brewing Company. The 5k loop course is FUNdraiser for the Templeton Recreation Department. Walkers, joggers and strollers welcome but asked to line-up at the back of the race to allow the competitive runners clearance. Participants will enjoy live entertainment at the BarrelHouse Brewing Company Amphitheater.  Food will be available for purchase on-site. 

17.  Grandma Ingrid’s Cheese Class – 9a to Noon (Arroyo Grande)

Come to Grandma Ingrids and learn to make delicious cheese. We will make several different kinds of cheese like fresh mozzarella, feta, and butter.  This class is part hands on and part demonstration as some cheese takes longer to make than others. We will also give you supplies so you can go home and start making fresh mozzarella cheese right away.  Come hungry, lunch and lots of snacks will be served during the class.

18.  Monterey St. Market Grand Opening Party – 10a to 8p (San Luis Obispo)

Monterey St. Market has everything you loved about Piemonte’s —  Italian sandwiches, deli items and so much more!  Enjoy their new wine, beer and cider bar, official ribbon cutting at 11:00 am, prizes, Field Day Coffee Co & their adorable mobile coffee cart 10 am to 1 pm, ALL DAY Happy Hour & $5 Mimosas, and live music by Wally Barnick & Kenny Blackwell from 1-3 PM AND Shawn Clark Family Band starting at 5:00 pm  Bring your family and friends and support this local business.

19.  Summer Solstice Celebration – 11a to 2p (Morro Bay)
Join the State Park in celebrating the beginning of summer. There will be many activities including stamping, making animal tracks, bird games, Native American games and medallions, and learning about conservation and protection of our threatened species. Also live animals to handle such as snakes lizards, insects and different marine organisms. Morro Bay State Park Campground picnic area, please park outside and walk in. FREE Family event.

20.  Talley Harvest Market – 11a to 2p (Arroyo Grande)
Join the season opening of the Talley Farm Stand at Talley Vineyards. There will be local vendors, food, wine and live music from The Catalina Eddy Four. Plus, they will have their Berry U-pick open for blackberry picking. FREE admission. Bring the entire family!

21.  Earth & Fire 3 Year Anniversary – Noon to 9p (Paso Robles)

Come celebrate another year with Earth & Fire! They will be food from Railroad BBQ Co, music, and beer releases all day!! Keep an eye out on the event page for beers that will be released and any other updates.

22. Seven Angels Cellars Grand Opening – Noon to 5p (Templeton)

Seven Angels is officially opening their doors! Enjoy live music by Robi Duganne and Narrow Bridge! There will be food for purchase by Hurricane Kitchen and of course tasty 7 Angels Cellars wine tasting! Come out and show support for your local businesses.

23.  Calwise Spirits Birthday Bash – 1p to 9p (Paso Robles)

Calwise Spirits is turning 3 and they want to party with YOU! They will be having Special, limited releases of Gin & Rum, craft cocktails & food, Madonna Inn birthday cake & gelato, and birthday party games.

24.  Cars, Corks & Clubs – 1p to 4p (San Luis Obispo)
Enjoy an afternoon of high end European, luxury and Exotics cars paired with local wineries. Live the prestigious life and play a round of golf at the beautiful Dairy Creek Golf Course, right off the famous HWY 1.  Part of the proceeds for the event will benefit Along Comes Hope, a non-profit that helps children fighting cancer. Cars, Corks & Clubs is a family/children friendly event with bounce houses, golf and yard games for all ages, live music by The Stagecoach Three, food Trucks, and MORE!

25.  Barefoot Concerts on the Green – 2p to 6p (Los Osos)

Get ready to dance at the Barefoot Concerts on the Green series. Join us for live music by Cuesta Ridge, barefoot dancing on the putting green, refreshing food and beverages, and of course—a fun time with friends and family. The event is free for all ages!

26.  Summer Wine Stroll – 2p to 6p (Paso Robles)
This year’s Summer Wine Stroll will showcase wines representing all 11 Paso Robles sub AVA’s.  Sip, nibble and stroll from tasting room to tasting room while enjoying a diverse selection of Downtown Winery’s best wines paired with gourmet bites. ​From Albariño to Zinfandel, our wineries offer something for every palate. Be among the first to taste what’s new and discover your new favorite wines in Downtown Paso Robles!

27.  Tent City Beer Company 7th Anniversary – 2p to 10p (Atascadero)

It’s that time of year again! Tent City’s 7th Annual Anniversary Party! Come laugh, dance, dine, drink and celebrate 7 years of epic beer and amazing friends. Traffic Records will be spinning all your favorite tunes! Live music by the very talented, soulful, funk based band The Charities, folk style singer songwriter Sam Cav and the lovely sounds of Scarlett Canter. Be sure to come hungry! The food truck will be roaring all day and night! In addition to serving up your classic favorites, they’ll be cooking up some delicious Pulled Pork Sandwich’s! They will also be adding something special to the beer menu. The Double IPA. Released only once a year this beer is full of flavor and ready to party!

28.  Jack’s Helping Hand Annual BBQ & Auction – 3p to 10p (San Luis Obispo)
Each year, Jack’s Helping Hand is the beneficiary of the kindheartedness of participating businesses and guests at this fantastic event. 2019 will be our 13th Annual Benefit and is always a memorable evening for everyone involved. Guests mingle and bid on an array of items in the silent and live auction while listening to live music. Local vineyards and breweries donate wine and beer and caterers provide a delicious menu.

29. Saturday in the Park Summer Concert Series – 6:30p – 8:30p (Atascadero)
Atascadero Recreation is bringing you MORE concerts held nearly every Saturday evening throughout the upcoming summer.  Music provided by the Crisptones Band!  Concerts are FREE to the public and everyone is encouraged to bring a blanket, low-back chair, and the entire family to relish the warm summer evenings at Atascadero Lake Park.

30.  Paint & Dance Party at Bang the Drum – 8p to 12a (San Luis Obispo)
Dress appropriately as we are having a PAINT PARTY and the paint WILL be flying. Paint your clothes, paint your body and paint the paper. Inside we will have black lights, glow paint and music, AND outside we will have face/body painting and a mural! Music by Brother Beat’s Suffuse Sessions!

Sunday, June 30th

31.  SLO Record Swap Pop Up Sale – 10a to 2p (San Luis Obispo)

Calling all our collectors! Visit the SLO Record Swap pop up vinyl record fair and brunch. The event is for all ages and FREE to enter.

32.  Sizzlin’ Summer Concert Series – 3p to 6p – (Grover Beach)

Get ready for another great summer of friendly company, delicious food, and great music! Music will be provided by Double Dose. Don’t forget your low back chairs, sunglasses, sunblock and dancing shoes!  Delicious food, beer and wine AVAILABLE!  The event is free for all ages.
