Things To Do This 4th of July in SLO County 2021

Are you looking for events happening in SLO County this holiday weekend? July 4th is a popular time of the year to visit and explore the central coast of California coast. Maybe you want to explore Paso Robles Wine Country? Or take in the ocean views of Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, or Caycos? SLO County is one of the best places to bring the entire family. Morro Bay Art In The Park (Morro Bay) 10a – 4p

This 65th annual show offers artists and crafts people a high-quality outdoor setting to display and sell their wares to an appreciative audience. There will be 108 booths representing 125 independent artists and craft workers present.

Avila Beach 4th of July Doggie Parade (Avila Beach) 11a – 12p

Celebrate 4th of July with your pupper! The Doggie Parade and Doggie Costume Contest is happening at the Avila Beach Community Center. All dogs must be registered and checked in to walk in the parade. Each entrant will receive a goodie treat bag from Petco Arroyo Grande and a Participant Ribbon.

Nipomo 4th of July Celebration (Nipomo) 12p – 5p

Celebrate 4th of July in Nipomo. There will be live music by Critical Mass, food trucks, car show and more family-friendly activities.

Make float, decorate your dog/buggy/flat bed/bicycle/scooter, wave a flag, dress in your most patriotic outfit and come celebrate American’s Independence Day with the Creston Community. Starts at noon followed by a dip in the community pool.

Circus Vargas (San Luis Obispo) 12:30p or 3:30p

Run away with the circus, for two unforgettable hours of nonstop action and adventure! A magnificent, mega-hit production guaranteed to thrill and enchant children of all ages only at Circus Vargas, where memories are made and cherished for a lifetime!

Music in the Park (Arroyo Grande) 1 – 4p

Head out to Arroyo Grande for some shopping and live music! The Village Band will be playing traditional and patriotic tunes at Heritage Park for all to enjoy.

4th On The Water (Central Coast) – Anytime

Come experience real luxury this 4th of July in the Central Coast. Charter your own private yacht for four hours with up to 6 friends or family members and have our personal private chef make you some delicious food while enjoying the festivities of the fourth and the fireworks from the Cayucos Pier or Pismo Beach Pier.

Sizzlin’ Summer Concert Series – (Grover Beach) 3p – 6p

The Grover Beach Summer Concert Series is back Sunday afternoons. Enjoy 4th of July with a Grover Beach favorite, Unfinished Business.  They will be performing energetic ’60s music enjoyed by audiences of all ages.

Celebrate the second Annual Fourth of July Bash at CASS Winery! Drinking award-winning wines, and enjoy classic 4th of July BBQ prepared, live music, backyard games and patriotic entertainment for the whole family.

4th of July Music Festival (Atascadero) 4p – 6p

Cheers to life in Atascadero!

Colony Days are proud to present the Atascadero 4th of July Music Festival at the Atascdero Lake Park. Enjoy music, amusements, food, drinks, boating and more!  The rolling hills of Atascadero Lake Park and large shady oaks provide an inviting atmosphere for event-goers during the Independence Day celebration.

Annual 4th of July Celebration (Pismo Beach) 7p – 10p

The Annual 4th of July Celebration is back! Due to Covid, Pismo Beach is limiting the number of attendees on the pier at this time.

July 4th in Cayucos (Cayucos) – 9pm

Enjoy fireworks by the ocean. This traditional celebration will take place on the pier as in past years and will run about half the normal length.
