Santa’s Reindeer Pop Up | December 4th to 6th – 12p to 6p (Atascadero)

The City of Atascadero is very excited to announce that Santa is sending two of his famous reindeer to visit, and they’ll be right here in front of Historic City Hall on Palma Avenue, December 4th through the 6th from noon – 6 pm!

2020 Elegant Evenings In The Village | December 4 & 5 – 4p to 8p (Arroyo Grande)

Dress in your elegant, holiday attire and stroll through the Village of Arroyo Grande. Stores and restaurants will be open late for safe shopping and dining. Enjoy music, lights, Santa, and photo opportunities in a festive atmosphere.

Light Up The Downtown Drive-In Holiday Celebration – December 4th – 5:30p to 8p (Atascadero)

Enjoy the annual countdown to light up Historic City Hall at “Light up the Downtown Drive-In!” This year, “Light up the Downtown” will be drive-in style, all around Sunken Gardens! Park and get ready to enjoy live holiday music, countdown to light up Historic City Hall, followed by Santa and Mrs. Claus making their way around Sunken Gardens

Jingle Express Drive Through | December 4th – 5:30p to 8p (Pismo Beach)

The city of Pismo Beach is bringing holiday cheer this year with the Jingle Express Drive-Thru at Pismo Beach City Hall. Drive on by & meet Santa! Drop off a letter to him while you’re there, receive cooking decorating kits, goody bags, & more! Santa looks forward to seeing you!

SLO Film Festival: Vinyl Nation | December 4th to 6th (Online)

Filmmakers Kevin Smokler and Christopher Boone trace the history as well as the technical side of record production, and find a collection of passionate fans, musicians, technicians and designers who share their knowledge and theories. Grab a “Watch At Home Kit” to participate.

DANA’s Holiday Tamale Make and Take – December 5th at 10a (Nipomo)

This is a hands-on class that will teach you the basic steps to make traditional Mexican style tamales.

Harmony Christmas Market – December 5 & 6 (Harmony)

It’s the first annual Harmony Christmas Market!! Shop and support local businesses for Christmas this year. Vendors will be selling a variety of goods and food to make shopping for the holidays a breeze!

Makeshift Makers Market – December 5 & 6 – 11a to 4p (Paso Robles)

Tooth and Nail Castle

Holiday on the Trail – December 5 & 6 – 11a to 5p (San Miguel)

Join the Pleasant Valley Wine Trail their Annual Holiday on the Trail with a Toy Drive! Make reservations to wine taste with members of the trail.

Holiday Wreath Workshop – December 5 – 2p (Cambria)

Come create a beautiful holiday wreath at Los Osos Valley Nursery. They will guild you through the process of creating your own unique creation!

Adelaida Local Holiday Market – December 6 – 11:30 to 4p (Paso Robles) POSTPONED***

Local purveyors, producers, and artisans gather once again at the Halter Ranch historic barn to create a festive sip & shop experience.

Terra Cotta Pinch Pot Workshop – December 6 – 1p to 3p (San Luis Obispo)

Enjoy a beginner’s ceramic workshop at Rod & Hammers SLO Stills with Adriana Lemus and Chad Franco from Night Owl Pottery!

Holiday Market @ CASS – December 6 – 2p to 5p (Paso Robles)

Shop locally and knock out some of that “last minute” shopping list, while enjoying a glass of wine in hand and carols filling the air.

Christmas in Cayucos – December 6 – 5p to 7:30p (Cayucos)

Come visit Cayucos for a socially distant holiday celebration. There will a christmas tree lighting, carolers, treats, craft projects and raffles. Businesses will be decorated so you can find gifts for your loved ones.

Ugly Christmas Sweater: Virtual Mixer – December 9 – 5:30p (Online)

Join YPNG for holiday trivia, an ugly sweater contest and more. They’ll be giving out some rockin’ gifts to the winners of the following competitions during the mixer.

Light Up Downtown – San Luis Obispo

This event takes place throughout Downtown SLO. Start at Mission Plaza to visit Santa’s House and pick up a free scavenger hunt book. Take photos at multiple pod stations fully decorated to celebrate the holidays. Shop locally while admiring the lit up window displays.

The Search For Santa’s Mouse  – San Luis Obispo

Participate in a free scavenger hunt with the family! Complete the challenge and be entered to win a special prize!



Join Circus Vargas for a high-flying trapeze lesson!- Lessons are private with limited capacity. Give yourself the gift of the circus this holiday season.

Art In The Garden – San Luis Obispo

SLO Botanical Garden has joined with local, well-respected artists to showcase and sell their fine art, with sales benefitting the non-profit San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden view and shop.

The City of Atascadero will be introducing a new holiday lighting trail map, “Trail of Lights,” which will be a fun way to showcase your beautiful lights and a fun activity for residents to drive around and enjoy them!

Join our local makers for socially distant and safe shopping this holiday. SLOcally made will have over 25 makers rotating their beautifully crafted products.

Enjoy a socially distanced evening with your loved ones while enjoying over 2 million lights on display!


‍The Field of Light at Sensorio will use an array of over 58,800 stemmed spheres lit by fiber-optics, gently illuminating the landscape.
