Pops by the Sea: Movie Magic
The San Luis Obispo Symphony announces the return of Pops-by-the-Sea on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Avila Beach Golf Resort! Gates will open at 2:45 PM and music will begin at 4:00PM.
This live symphony concert, Movie Magic, takes us on a journey through the last fifty years of famous movie scores and themes from Richard Rodgers Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, West Side Story, Magnificent Seven to the Adventures of Robin Hood, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Nigel Hess’ Ladies in Lavender.  Join us for an afternoon of celebration with something for everyone on Labor Day weekend, Saturday August 31st at 4:00pm.
Parking
Parking is free, and a parking pass will be attached to your printable ticket, or may be picked up on site.
Food & Drinks
Bring your own picnic, or enjoy a selection from food trucks on site, Brooks Burgers, Central Coast Pizza Trolley, G Brothers Kettlecorn, and SLO Provisions (for pre order). Drinks will be available for purchase. No outside drinks are permitted and ice chests will be inspected upon entry. Bring a reusable water bottle!
Tickets
- Limited table seating is available for $80 each seat at tables of 10.
- Lawn seating is $25 for adults and $15 for minors ages 13 to 17. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair!Â
- Children under 13 are free with a paying adult, so bring along the entire family!
