We’ll also take time to create together, using our skills to make beautiful and meaningful objects that reflect our innermost hopes and dreams.

At Witchy Wednesday, you’ll be in a supportive and inclusive environment, where everyone is welcome, regardless of their experience level or background. We believe that magic is for everyone, and we’re excited to share our passion with you.  So come and join us at Witchy Wednesday, and let’s celebrate the power of the mystical and magical together!

SEPTEMBER 20th Class Details: Mabon Autumn Equinox Altar Making Class

Mabon is a pagan holiday that takes place during the autumnal equinox, typically around September 21st/22nd. It is a time to celebrate the harvest, the changing of the seasons, and the balance between light and dark. One way to honor this holiday is by creating a nature altar.

Please join, Psychic Medium and Morning Altars Certified Teacher, Tiffany Klemz, as she guides us through creating a very own impermanent Mabon Autumn Equinox Altar!

You will need to gather & bring your altar items prior to Witchy Wednesday. In addition to altar items, please bring a tray, box, or any other creative way to build on and transport your altar back to your own sacred space at the completion of event. Remember that your altar should reflect your personal beliefs and intentions, so feel free to get creative and add items that are meaningful to you!

Here are some inspirations for items to include on your altar, aligning with representation of the harvest:

  • Apples
  • Bundle of wheat, or any other symbol of the abundance of the season.
  • Leaves and acorns: Gather fallen leaves and acorns from outside to bring a piece of the season indoors.
  • Candles: Select candles in warm, autumnal colors like orange, red, and gold to create a cozy atmosphere.
  • Crystals: Stones like citrine and carnelian can help to amplify the energy of the season and promote feelings of abundance and gratitude.
  • Images of the moon and stars: The Autumn Equinox is a time of balance between light and dark, so incorporating images of celestial bodies can help to emphasize this theme.
  • Something to represent the element of air: This could be a feather, a bell, or a representation of birds.
