Festive Fabric Covered Journal Workshop

Guest artist and avid craft collector Jennifer Perkins is coming all the way from Austin, TX for a fun bookbinding workshop. Everyone will make a one of a kind single signature journal in class.  Not even sure what is a signature is?  No worries this class is for all skill levels and you will learn all about signatures, bone folders, waxed thread and more in class.

Students will leave with the knowledge of how to make a fabric wrapped journal cover, master a 3 hole pamphlet stitch and learn tips and tricks about using new and vintage papers in your future bookbinding adventures.

There will be tons of papers and fabrics to choose from.  Jen will also have a selection of her handmade collage fodder and vintage ephemera packs available for sale during class.

Jennifer has taught creative workshops all over the country, is the author of 5 books and has created for content for companies like HGTV and Micheals Stores.
