Pridefest 2025
Central Coast Pride Events is a vibrant initiative managed by The GALA Pride & Diversity Center, powered by the dedication of over 100 volunteers. Since 1997, we’ve curated and hosted a diverse series of Pride events across San Luis Obispo County—celebrating diversity, inclusivity, and community pride.
In 2024, we significantly expanded our reach by partnering with neighboring cities, making the season our most extensive and inclusive yet. Central Coast Pride now spans San Luis Obispo, Atascadero, Cambria, and Los Osos—ensuring that the spirit of Pride is felt across the entire region.
We’re keeping that energy going in 2025 with Pridefest, our multi-week celebration running May 1–June 30, featuring dozens of community-hosted events throughout SLO County and culminating in our main Pridefest weekend, May 30–June 1. This flagship weekend includes:
Pride in the Plaza, our vibrant downtown festival
Trans Pride in the Park, a welcoming community celebration
and the Pink Pony Club Dance Party, a bold and colorful kickoff event
We’re currently accepting vendor, entertainer, sponsor, and partner event applications for the 2025 season! Whether you’re a local maker, performer, business, or community group, there are many ways to get involved and be part of the celebration.
Beyond Pride Month, we remain committed to celebrating year-round. Through ongoing collaborations with local organizations and community leaders, we host inclusive events that continue to uplift and support LGBTQ+ individuals and allies throughout San Luis Obispo County.
