Join the 35 voices of Resonance for "Magnificat", a sumptuous feast ofย a cappella choral repertoire celebrating Mary, mother of Christ, and a special set of music featuring women composers of the 20th and 21st centuries. With music by Praetorius, Josquin, Bach, Pรคrt, Biebl, Alice Parker, Phyllis Zimmerman, and Gรณrecki, it is sure to be a gorgeous program of both choral chestnuts and lesser-known masterpieces. Resonance is a 35-voice choral ensemble based in San Luis Obispo, California, under the direction of Paul Osborne. Founded in 2012, Resonance performs a variety of a cappella choral repertoire, with emphasis on Renaissance polyphony, contemporary compositions, and music of the Lutheran choral tradition. Our annual season features three performances throughout San Luis Obispo County, including two summer concerts, and a barrel room Christmas concert at Steinbeck Vineyards & Winery in Paso Robles, CA.
