#1 Scarecrow Festival (Cambria) – ALL OCTOBER

This October, more than 400 imaginative and lively scarecrows will line the streets of Cambria’s East and West Villages, Moonstone Beach, and San Simeon.
#2 Brookshire Farms (San Luis Obispo) – ALL OCTOBER

Brookshire Farms will be opening for the 2023 season! Come one, come all to enjoy all their fall festivities. You can enjoy their corn maze, night maze, cart rides, pedal carts, corn hole, hay rides, hay maze, and more!
#3 Zombie Hunt 2023 (San Luis Obispo) – October 13/14, 20/21, & 27/28

Make your way on a mission throughout the 10 acres armed with a ZOMBIE GellyBall Blaster the entire time!! You will ward off the ZOMBIES at every turn while you try to collect serums and other necessities to make it out alive.
#4 Pumpkin Sculpting Demo (Paso Robles) – Saturday, October 14 @ 4p

Spooktacular event alert!!! Jordan Hockett is back with his pumpkin sculpting demos! Instead of carving pumpkins in a traditional style, Jordan uses a sculpting technique to create complex three-dimensional characters.
#5 Halloween Candle Making Party (San Luis Obispo) – Wednesday, October 18 @ 5:30p

Visit Opulence in downtown San Luis Obispo. They will be bringing all the spooky vibes and candle making!
#6 Ghosts Galore at The Sunset Drive In (San Luis Obispo) – Wednesday, October 18 at 6pm

In what is becoming an annual tradition, we are here to help you kick off your Halloween festivities at the Sunset Drive-In with a double feature of the ghostly classics, CASPER and POLTERGEIST. Join us under the stars with this cinematic experience and family-fun event by sporting your favorite ghostly costumes and trick or treating at the snack bar.

If you’re looking for a fun and family-friendly way to get into the Halloween spirit, look no further than the Grover Beach Annual Pumpkin Carving Competition. This beloved event takes place every October at Ramona Garden Park and offers a day of pumpkin-filled fun for people of all ages.

#15 Halloween Candy & Wine Pairing (Harmony) – October 28 & 29

Swing by and TREAT yourself to a Halloween candy and wine pairing flight! Harmony Cellars will show you the TRICKS of pairing wine with sweets, so you can come up with your own pairings at home.
#16 Zombie Invasion SLO (San Luis Obispo) – Saturday, October 28 @ 10 am

The Central Coast Autism Spectrum Center presents Zombie Invasion SLO! This is an untimed 5K walk or run for the whole family! Come and be a zombie, a survivor, or stay and do both!
#17 Pumpkins in the Park (Pismo Beach) – Saturday, October 28 @ 10am

City of Pismo Beach Recreation presents Pumpkins in the Park. There will be Downtown trick or treating, pumpkin decorating, costume contest and more!

This bewitching event is open to the public and benefits the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County. Don your favorite witch or warlock costume and meet at Coleman Park
#30 Dia De Los Muertos (San Luis Obispo) – Sunday, October 29 @ 12 pm

A celebration of Dia De Los Muertos (The Day of the Dead) in Mission Plaza. The event will include altars, folkloric dancers, a mariachi concert, non-profit information booths, face painting, and a costume contest.
#31 Camp Ocean Pines Harvest Festival (Cambria) – Sunday, October 29 @ 1pm
