Hearst Castle Holiday Tour – 5p to 7p (San Simeon)

12th Annual Noon Year’s Eve Party! – 11a to 1p (San Luis Obispo)

**Family Friendly! Celebrate the beginning of 2020 well before bedtime: decorate a festive crown and prepare for an apple juice toast. You won’t want to miss the big countdown and balloon drop at NOON SHARP!

New Years Eve at Marisol – 5:30p to 1a (Pismo Beach)

Begin the evening, savoring a delectable three-course surf and turf dinner prepared by Chef Jimmy and Pastry Chef Derek. Dance the night away with live music followed by DJ Matty.

New Years’ Eve at Luna Red! – 5:30p to 1a (San Luis Obispo)

Experience New Years Eve with us by enjoying a pre-fixe celebrating the Central Coast bounty and bossa nova/jazz live music from Elias & Madeline!!

60’s Rock & Soul New Year’s Eve Bash – 6p to 12:15a (San Luis Obispo)

Enjoy a 60’s Rock & Soul New Year’s Eve Bash featuring Unfinished Business, with special guest Roy Henry. All tickets include live entertainment, dancing, a buffet dinner with cash bar service, free parking, and special overnight hotel rates.

Bring in the New Year! – 8:30p to 12:30a (Paso Robles)

Celebrate the dawn of 2020 at Allegretto Vineyard Resort’s New Year’s Eve Celebration. Enjoy dancing, drinks and live music by the Martin Paris Band at the beautiful Allegretto Resort!

New Year’s Eve Disco at the Rock – 8:30p to 1a (San Luis Obispo)

Kicking off the New Year with a seriously epic Disco at SLO Brew Rock. They have a disco dance party set to carry you past midnight at the SLO Brew Rock Event Center. There will be a full-spread of food to feed the soul, a rad Magic Mirror photo booth, sparkle stations, surprises from SLOQueerdos and a clock-strikes-12:00 AM balloon drop!

New Year’s Day Polar Bear Dip – 10a to 12:30p (Cayucos)

Kick-off your New Year with this Cayucos tradition. Costumes, prizes and a group run at noon into the ocean!

Avila Beach Polar Bear Plunge – 12p to 2p (Avila Beach)

The 8th annual Avila Beach Polar Bear Plunge is a celebration of fitness, nature, a New Year, and camaraderie! Meet on the East side of the Avila Beach pier for pictures and encouragement from fellow plungers.

Thursday, January 2

10th Annual San Luis Obispo Jewish Film Festival – January 2 to 5 (San Luis Obispo)

The SLO Jewish Film Festival is a unique cultural experience on California’s Central Coast – celebrating Jewish life, community, and films. Filmmakers from around the country come to San Luis Obispo to engage with our community and feature the stories they are telling through their films.

Friday, January 3

Art After Dark – 6p to 9p (San Luis Obispo)

Join Arts Obispo and visit Downtown SLO! You’ll have a chance to visit an array of galleries, celebrate and discover art and local artists. This event is FREE to the public and it happens rain or shine!

Abominable Movie – 7p to 11p (San Luis Obispo)

The Fremont Theater presents a special screening of Abominable. This is a FREE movie, you must reserve a ticket. Seating is limited, reserve your spot now!

Saturday, January 4

Monarch Butterfly Tours – 11a to 1p (Morro Bay)

Celebrate one of nature’s wonders…the Monarch Butterfly. You’ll witness thousands of them up close in their natural habitat at Morro Bay.

Toy Story 4 Movie – 8p (San Luis Obispo)

The Fremont Theater presents a special screening of Toy Story 4. This is a FREE movie, you must reserve a ticket. Seating is limited, reserve your spot now!

Violin On Fire with Dirty Cello – 8p to 11p (Morro Bay)

Led by vivacious cross-over cellist, Rebecca Roudman, Dirty Cello is cello like you’ve never heard before. From down-home blues with a wailing cello to virtuosic stompin’ bluegrass, Dirty Cello is a band that gets your heart thumping and your toes tapping!

Sunday, January 5

Come out and support Brynn and Brittni Frace’s Memorial Running Chicken 10k & Fun Run/walk. The run course is a 10 kilometer out-and-back course on the paved dirt roads along the shoreline of Santa Margarita Lake.
