If you’re like the 53% of American’s who are planning to shop last minute before Christmas, we have you covered. Here is a list of last-minute stocking stuffers, souvenirs, and gifts for your friends and family from the heart of San Luis Obispo County.
1. Etto Pastifico
Etto – We are super obsessed with this place and have had the joy of purchasing both freshly made and dry pastas. Our personal favorites include their fettuccine, ravioli, dog-shaped pasta (for all your dog lover friends), or their ramen kit. Products are always rotating so call to check if what you’re looking for is available. Plus, they have ridiculously EPIC gift bags and boxes ranging from $25-95. The $95 box is super impressive and comes with boxes of their pasta, Giornata wine, Italian treats, and authentic sauces! Get it for a family, someone you REALLY love, or maybe even a business partner or coworker you landed a business deal with!
2. Yes! Cocktail Co.
Yes! Cocktails – Local and delicious. Use these mixers to create cocktails quickly and easily. They are made here in San Luis Obispo and can be found in a variety of stores. You can purchase a gift set or buy the bottles individually. Our personal favorite: Jalapeno Cucumber with vodka. Yes. We like it spicy.
3. Baceae
Baceae Chocolates – Gorgeous CBD chocolates made in Cambria at a reasonable price point. You can’t go wrong with these sweet treats! They are delicious and make an elegant and unique holiday present – available in indivdual packages and box sets.
4. Paso Almonds
Paso Almonds – Our sugar crack. This is one of the first local products we had during our move to the central coast and these things are seriously life-changing. Paso almonds uses minimal ingredients and they are perfectly roasted and salted. Bite into their crisp brittle and enjoy both sweet and savory flavors all in one bite. Perfect for any holiday gift or to treat yourself.
5. Life Elements
Life Elements – Quality handmade products created here in San Luis Obispo County! The ingredients are all natural and non-toxic. They have products available with or without CBD but we suggest you learn more about the healing and holistic properties CBD has. Enjoy bath bombs, body scrubs, chapstick, healing and pain sticks – all in beautiful packaging and ready to fill those present boxes and stockings. Our personal favorite: CBD & Honey Lip Goo – awesome for those winter chapped lips.

9. Wine, Beer, Spirits & Coffee
– Wine, Beer, Spirits & Coffee – Uhh I hope that this is a no-brainer. We have so many great local spots to grab a drink here in SLO County! Purchase a local wine that’s not sourced to the grocery stores, find a unique beer for a friend, drop by a local coffee shop for some whole beans, or hop along the Distillery Trail of Paso Robles and purchase locally made spirits.
10. Awww Fudge
Aww Fudge – We have bought this multiple times as “gifts” for our friends and instead ate them. They have fudge flavors that vary throughout the season. Our pick: Guinness Stout for the win!
12. Churro Nuggets – Linn’s of Cambria
Churro Nuggets – Another item which probably has sugar crack in it. Enjoy a bite-size taste of churro in your hands without tons of sugar granules all over the car seat. Just open the bag and continuously eat until they are completely obliterated. Great for kids if you are looking for a small treat.
13. David’s Blue Ribbon Honey
David’s Blue Ribbon Honey – A local secret. This honey has won 18 blue ribbon awards at the Los Angeles County fair. They have creamed honey, honeycomb, pollen, honey bbq sauce, and 14 different flavors of honey. They don’t have a website but the honey can be found at California Fresh, The Hive in Arroyo Grande and SLO Provisions in downtown San Luis Obispo.
Those are our holiday present picks! Hope it helps a few of you out who are traveling out of SLO and need a suggestion or two 😉
