It’s that time of the year again! The Second Annual SLO Cocktail Month is stirring up cocktails in SLOCO Countywide distillers and restaurants partner for month-long festival
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA – Innovation mixes with delicious and creative flavors during June as our region’s distiller community prepares for its second ever craft cocktail competition, which will be featured at select restaurants throughout San Luis Obispo County.
Patrons should watch for “SLO Cocktail Month” menus and posters in their favorite eateries to discover each unique beverage that has been created for the competition. There are 17 restaurants across the county participating this year.
Whether served on fire, over a hand-chiseled ice cube, or with a candied beef jerky garnish, the current craft cocktail rebirth is alive and well at area cocktail bars. Distilleries are popping up throughout the central coast to share their variety of unique and small batch spirits, such as cucumber vodka, 117 proof cask-strength bourbon, absinthe, and coffee liqueur. A dozen tasting rooms are now part of the Paso Robles Distillery Trail, alone.
