2019 Robotics Expo – 5p to 8p (San Luis Obispo)

Softec, the Central Coast’s premier software and technology association, invites you and your kids to celebrate our 11th Annual Student Robotics EXPO. They will be showcasing our local high schools’ robotics clubs and their amazing & world champion robots.

Join an enlightening panel discussion with five exceptional women “making waves” in the Arts and Entertainment world on the Central Coast. Arrive early for Happy Hour, inspiring dialogue, and enjoy special performances by panelists throughout the evening.

Paint Your Pooch with Aja Goare – 7p to 9p (San Luis Obispo)

Come to The Station SLO for the infamous Paint Your Pooch Acrylic Painting Workshop with Aja Goare! The class includes canvas, all painting materials, 2-hours of instruction, and your first glass of wine!

Tuesday, October 1st

Sip & Wick at The Station – 7p to 9p (San Luis Obispo)

Join in on the first Sip and Wick at The Station in San Luis Obispo! During this two-hour workshop, participants learn how to make a candle from a repurposed wine bottle while socializing and sipping on a beverage.

YPNG Social Networking: Beda’s Biergarten – 5:30p to 7:30p (San Luis Obispo)

YPNG’s social networking event is here! This month they will be supporting another great local hangout – Beda’s Biergarten. From beer to schnitzel to wurst and goulash, Beda’s is the perfect place to experience a little bit of Germany on the Central Coast. Come out an meet new friends! This event is open to members and non-members!

SLO County Young Life’s High End Hoedown – 6p to 9p (Santa Margarita)

Join us for a night filled food, fun, and Young Life! Enjoy a BBQ dinner served by Kullman Catering. They will be fundraising to send kids to summer camp of 2020 where they get to experience the “Best week of their Life!”

Friday, October 4

Central Coast Follies Presents American Dreams – Oct 4th to 6th (San Luis Obispo)

Clap your hands and tap your toes to familiar tunes such as “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B” and “New York, New York.” The fabulous Central Coast Follies, and guest artists, will sing and dance their way into your hearts as they present their 17th annual variety benefit for the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo and the Parkinson Alliance.

Central Coast Railroad Festival – October 4th to 6th (San Luis Obispo)

The Central Coast Railroad Festival (CCRRF) is a broad based festival which focuses on railroading of many types with an eye towards the beauty of the central coast of California.

Morro Bay Harbor Festival – October 4th to 6th (Morro Bay)

Come out for the 38th Annual Morro Bay Harbor Festival, one of the premier events on California’s spectacular Central Coast. It will be located along the Embarcadero at an all new location and will feature a variety of entertaining happening.

First Friday on the Creston Wine Trail – 12p to 5p (Creston)

The Creston Wine Trail invites you to spend First Fridays with us. We’re a great way to kick off the weekend with Special Wine & Food Pairings and new releases on the First Friday of every month during our regular tasting room hours.

Art After Dark – 6p to 9p (San Luis Obispo)

Visit Downtown SLO and an array of galleries, celebrate and discover art and local artists. This event is FREE to the public! Event happens rain or shine.

Tent City After Dark – 6p (Atascadero)

Come out to Tin City! There will be food, beer, wine and more in addition to live music by Moonshiner Collective, Arthur Watership, Bear Market Riot & Bremen Town.

Waterfront Market – October 5th to 6th (Morro Bay)

This event is free to the public, family and pet friendly. Come and see what the Central Coast has to offer you. A one of a kind unique gift that you would not find any where else. We have everything from soy candles, crocheted, stitched & knitted goods, bath, body & skin care products, incense, locally made drinks and snacks, jewelry, children’s books, the list goes on and on

Colony Days Festival – 7a to 4p (Atascadero)

It’s time for Colony Days! Bring out the entire family for a full day of events: pancake breakfast, parade, a Tent City re-enactment, wiener and small dog races, pet costume contest, and food, nonprofit and retail vendors. There will also be tours of the historic city hall and the Atascadero Historical Society museum will be open.

Pumpkin Palooza – 10a to 1p (Templeton)

Your ticket allows access to enter the pumpkin painting corral. Inside the corral, you will be able to pick your pumpkin from the selection offered and create your very own masterpiece. They will have all the supplies including paint, brushes, glitter, glue, pompoms, ribbon, hats, wiggle eyes and aprons for the kids.

Clos des Papes Vertical Tasting – 12p to 1:15p (Paso Robles)

Learn about Clos des Papes, one of Ian Adamo’s favorite Chateauneuf-Du-Pape producers. Thaste a bridge of New World Fruit aromas and Old World structure. You will be tasting 5 of their wines and discuss their winemaking techniques and vintages.

Sculpterra October Art Show – 12p to 4p (Paso Robles)

Sculpterra Winery is happy to host an amazing Art Show. Featuring art exhibits by Robert Maja, Seth Brayer, Chazz Roberts, Nancy Pharis, Wendy Scruby, Linda Quinlan, and more! Come enjoy some wine, live music, food, and take home some amazing art.

Templeton Oktoberfest – 1p to 5p (Templeton)

Join us for SLO County’s best Oktoberfest! North County will be the place to be as they roll out the mugs for this beery event. Don your lederhosen and dirndl and enter in the best dressed contests. Leave the kids at home as the inflatables are for the adults to bounce on this time.

It’s time for the 15th Annual “Down The Hatch” Oyster Eating Contest sponsored by Giovanni’s Fish Market! The Oyster eating contest will be at the Embarcadero. There will be stage prizes for all contestants, and Trophies for the TOP 3 Contestants

Bounty of Harvest – 5p to 7:30p (San Luis Obispo)

Enjoy a curated menu of local food crafted by SLO Provisions’ Executive Chef Sam Williams. Enjoy local food, wine, art, olive farm tour, and music. This benefit dinner is in support of our small local farms.

Join Gopher Glen Organic Apple Farm for their 3rd annual Harvest Hard Cider Dinner, featuring Gopher Glen Hard Cider. The event will take place in the orchard under the cafe lights and stars among the apple trees during peak harvest. Ticket includes a family style fried chicken dinner paired with six hard Gopher Glen ciders, dessert with hot coffee, and meet/greet with the Gopher Glen farmers.

Art in the Park – 10a to 4p (Pismo Beach)

Dinner & A Movie at Hearst Castle – 5p to 9p (San Simeon)

Enjoy an intimate, seated dinner on the sunporch of Hearst Castle’s Casa del Mar cottage, followed by a rare chance to see a Hearst-era film in his private theater lit by golden goddesses all along the red damask walls.
