This Memorial Day we remember the men and women who served our country. Thank you to them and their families for the sacrifices they’ve made for us to enjoy our freedom.

SLO County is slowly starting to reopen their businesses and we are wishing them success. At this time events are mostly online and due to the constant changes we will only be updating our calendar weekly. We will try to post online events in advance so please submit your events.

This event consists of Vehicle Salute and a Virtual Ceremony. Join Welcome Home Military Heroes on their Facebook page to watch this event live.

Atascadero – Faces of Freedom Memorial – 12p to 1p (Online Event)

KVEC News Talk radio is proud to host a virtual countywide Memorial Day Ceremony. The ceremony will include: Posting of the Colors, National Anthem, speeches, narrated flyover, wreath-laying, and music.

Come on out to the farm this Sunday May 24! They have produce you to harvest yourself or place an order in advance for pick up! There is romaine lettuce, summer crisp lettuce, carrots, baby beets, turnip greens, radishes, onions, kale, spinach, and microgreens available! They are a donation-based farm so please feel free to give if you can all proceeds go to help the farm grow next year!
