Basin Street Regulars Presents The Barrelhouse Wailers & Raider Jazz Ensemble

Celebrate a half-century of hot jazz as the Basin Street Regulars Jazz Collective continues its 50th Anniversary season! This May, we are bringing a high-energy double-feature to the Pismo Beach stage, blending the soulful sounds of Ventura with the fresh talent of Oxnard’s rising stars.

The Artists

FEATURE BAND: The Barrelhouse Wailers – This 8-piece powerhouse from Ventura delivers a seamless blend of traditional hot jazz, vintage blues, and original compositions. Known for their tight-knit chemistry and electrifying performances, they bring a timeless yet contemporary sound that has captivated audiences since 2013.

INTERMISSION BAND: The Raider Jazz Ensemble – Hailing from Channel Islands High School, these talented student musicians bring a vibrant energy to the stage. Led by Loreto Teruel, the ensemble focuses on swing and Latin jazz, exploring the rich traditions of improvisation and groove.

The Floor: We have a BIG WOODEN DANCE FLOOR ready for you to find your rhythm. 

Fuel: Food and drinks are available on-site.
