Join the Pismo Beach CVB Stewardship & Educational Outreach Program for an evening of education, wine, and community celebrating whale conservation and ocean stewardship. Enjoy fine SLO Coast wines, ocean-inspired art, and expert discussion on marine conservation.
The evening will include:
- Welcome Reception: Sip local wines, savor small bites, enjoy ocean-inspired local art, and explore booths from stewardship partners along the central coast.
- Panel Discussion: Learn from marine scientists, conservation advocates, naturalist guides, and industry experts.
- Keynote Speaker: Renowned whale conservationist Adam Ernster will share stunning footage and insights into protecting our marine life.

About Santa Barbara Channel Whale Heritage Area: The Whale Heritage Area (WHS) program is an initiative created by the World Cetacean Alliance, and currently run in partnership with World Animal Protection, to formally recognize and accredit destinations around the world that support and demonstrate the importance of cetaceans and their ocean habitats. There are now eleven official Whale Heritage Areas in the world.
