Pinedorado Days
The annual Pinedorado celebration in Cambria began in 1949, when the Cambria Lion’s Club realized the need for a community recreation center for the local youth, and adopted the project of securing such a center.
Through the kindness of the Joe Fiscalini Family, a site of several acres was donated right in the center of Cambria. Additional adjoining property was later donated by the Cambria Development Company, and through land purchases made by the Lions Club of Cambria.
It was agreed that a community celebration would be sponsored to raise funds for the construction of a building which would fulfill the needs of the community. The events were planned over Labor Day Weekend.
