Ladyfest 2025 at Niffy’s Merrimaker

Saturday, December 13, after a nine-year hiatus, the feminine-celebrating music festival Ladyfest, in collaboration with The Feminine Collective, returns to Niffy’s Merrimaker in Los Osos with a stacked lineup of 29 Central Coast and West Coast musicians.

Performances range from shared songs to full band sets, spanning folk, Americana, jazz, rock, alternative, and electronic from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. This 21+ event also debuts battles in which eight Central Coast powerhouses compete—up to three rounds—until a Ladyfest ’25 Winner is crowned at the end of the night.

Ladyfest was created in 2013 by Ché Chiavaroli, a musician and educator who recognized the need for more musical opportunities for women. The festival has always embraced femmes, feminists, and the full spectrum of genders and identities. 2025 has left many feeling overwhelmed by current politics and policies that harm our communities so she felt compelled to bring the festival back to celebrate, uplift, and feel the power within them.
