Sew Your Own Reusable Gift Bags

Skip the wrapping paper and sew a gift that keeps on giving. In this workshop, you’ll create custom drawstring bags from upcycled fabric—any size, any purpose. Use them as reusable gift wrap, then repurpose them as travel pouches, produce bags, pencil cases, toy organizers, and more.

We’ll cover simple construction techniques, how to choose and cut fabric, and instructions for sewing different styles of bags. Beginners are welcome, and all materials are provided. You’ll leave with one or more finished bags and a new favorite go-to project.
