At Her Table 2025: Celebrating Women-Owned Restaurants in San Luis Obispo

In celebration of Women’s History Month, At Her Table is bringing together more than 30 San Luis Obispo County women-owned eateries for a county-wide event filled with special menu items, immersive experiences, and engaging conversations. This year’s event will take place from Friday, February 28th to March 9th, celebrating the diverse and talented women shaping the local food and beverage industry.

At Her Table was originally founded in 2021 by Michelle Barrera of EnjoySLO, inspired by a conversation with Dina Samson of Rossoblu in Los Angeles, who helped launch a similar project called Regarding Her. The movement took root quickly in SLO County, with local female business owners enthusiastically joining the initiative to share their stories, celebrate their craft, and connect with the community.

Now, At Her Table continues under the leadership of Candice Custodio, a dedicated private chef and founder of the Latin-inspired Club Sup Sup. Candice has been an active participant in At Her Table for years, supporting and uplifting the local culinary scene.

“I’m beyond excited to help At Her Table evolve from its already inspiring foundation into something even greater,” says Custodio. “I can’t wait to meet and collaborate with so many of you as we build on this journey together. Let’s continue the vibe, uplift one another, and grow this amazing network.”

This year’s At Her Table event features a diverse lineup of activities designed to celebrate and support women in the local food and beverage industry. Attendees can look forward to engaging workshops, such as culinary classes and art sessions, as well as insightful discussions led by female industry leaders. The event also includes special menu offerings from participating women-owned eateries, providing unique dining experiences throughout the week. A highlight of the celebration is the Women’s Week Festival at Sunken Gardens in Atascadero, featuring over 70 vendors, live music, and a vibrant fair atmosphere. These events aim to foster community connections and honor the contributions of women in San Luis Obispo County’s culinary scene
